Graduate Nurse

Temporarily licensed to practice, while completing the licensure exam, and is under the supervision of a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Practicing
Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse with Additional Authorized Practice [RN(AAP)]
Non-Practicing
Not licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse; in good standing with the CRNS
Inactive
Registered Nurse license has lapsed; not licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Saskatchewan
Retired
A category of membership a Registered Nurse may choose when “retiring” from nursing practice; in good standing with the CRNS
Restrictions
Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse but has limits on their practice; practice setting may be restricted
Conditions
Currently license to practice as a Registered Nurse but has requirements on their license to practice.
Licensure Agreement
Registered Nurse has conditions and/or restrictions on their license to practice registered nursing
Voluntary Non-Practice/Surrender Agreements
Registered Nurse voluntarily enters into an agreement with the CRNS to cease practicing registered nursing for a period of time
Required Education
Registered Nurse is required to complete a specific continuing education or remediation program
Consensual Complaint Resolution Agreements (CCRA)/Undertaking
Registered Nurse has conditions and/or restrictions on their license to practice registered nursing
Discipline Hearing
Registered Nurse is referred for potential disciplinary action related to professional misconduct and/or professional incompetence
Disciplinary Decision
Registered Nurse has condition and/or restrictions on their license to practice registered nursing
Caution
Registered Nurse is required to appear before the committee in person to emphasize their concerns about the Registered Nurse’s practice/conduct
